Updated second edition of my “Ride Like Hell” Poster for ARTCRANK‘s updated new site. It just launched today with 30 super awesome posters, you can check out this one here and read a bit more about my process.
Hand pulled (by me) 4 color screenprint. Edition of 30, it will be up for only 30 days so grab them while you can! I don’t normally go back and revisit pieces but I wanted to make this its own special piece not just a reprint. I changed the type and some other fun little details, it’s like one of those find the difference puzzles!
My piece for the PDX Flash show that opens at Compound Gallery in Portland May 7-30. PDX Flash is a group show of Portland inspired tattoo art. My piece is a tattoo inspired reinterpreting of Portlandia from the Portland City Seal. Two Color handpulled screenprint on french paper, 19×12.5 in, image ~ 17×7 in.
This years holiday card! Gold ink over gold ink hand pulled by me on Poptone Sweettooth. I always have some fun with the card backs too, I was especially happy with this years (below).
Two color screen-printed wall calendar for 2014! Inspired by all the awesome mod coffee cups my parents had when I was a kid. More accurately, inspired by an idealized version of how I remember them, filtered through a haze of romanticized nostalgia. Now I kind of want to design some coffee cups, mostly so I can have them. At the end of the year you can cut the print free of the obsolete calendar and enjoy the print for years to come. 12.5inx19in
I’ve been really bad about so much stuff from last year that never made it to the blog. For example I did this calendar for Crafty Wonderland and I’m only posting about them now. I’ve been just so busy, which is good but I’m making a resolution to be more diligent about posting and sharing.
This is my piece for Light Grey Art Lab’s Station Zero exhibition. Each artist was given a pulp paperback novel from the golden age of Sci-fi, it was then our challenge to update the cover into a 18x24in poster. I am not exaggerating when I say that the pieces in this show are out of this world awesome (pun completely intended), you can check out all the submissions here! Just do it you will not be disappointed. If you are in Minneapolis the reception is July 19th and will remain on display until August 10th. If you are so inclined, you can buy a print of my poster here.

A happy little reminder to keep fighting when the world is trying to grind you down. An illustrated hand lettered print for Light Grey Art Labs’ motivational poster show You Can Do It, Put Your Back Into It.

Three happy little birds on a branch. This bright graphic print will brighten any space! Hand pulled three colour screenprint on #100 Speckletone French Paper ~11″x14″.
Ltd. Edition available in the shop $20.00
Amuro Ray the Newtype pilot from the Mobile Suit Gundam series is the eighth hero in the Versus print series. I chose Amuro Ray as the subject for this print based on the words Blocky, Impenetrable, Secretive, and Riveting which were used to describe Fred’s Iron Man print, the seventh hero in the series. 3 color screenprint created using rubylith, photocopy and ink on velum. I tried something new with photocopy and oil to the burn screens for this one and I’m pretty happy with the results. Working without computers on these prints is really adding some more tools to my process.
This is my illustration piece for the Macro & Micro show for the awesome folks at Light Grey Art Lab. This poster could literally save your life. You can get a print of Ten Deadliest Plants here. Check out all the art for the show at the LGAL online shop.
