Villain 07: Roy Batty

Roy Batty, leader of the group of renegade replicants in Blade Runner, as portrayed by Rutger Hauer is the seventh villain in the Versus print series. Versus is a collaborative art project I’m doing with Fred DiMeglio. I chose Roy Batty as the subject based on the words shadowy, cunning, city and countdown, which were used to describe Fred’s Catwoman print, the sixth villain in the series. 3 color screenprint created using rubylith and ink on velum.

Villain 05: The Bad

AKA Angel Eyes, Sentenza, Il Cattivo

The Bad, one of the title characters from the classic Sergio Leone spaghetti western “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly” as portrayed by Lee Van Cleef. This remorseless killer is the fifth villain in the Versus print series. Versus is a collaborative art project I’m doing with Fred DiMeglio. I chose The Bad as the subject based on the words empty, bloody, cold and wrangler, which were used to describe Fred’s Frank Booth, the forth villain in the series. 3 color screenprint created using rubylith and ink on velum.

Hero 04: Zatanna

Zatanna is the fourth hero in the Versus print series. Versus is a collaborative art project I’m doing with Fred DiMeglio. I chose Zatanna as the subject based on the words magical, tradition, suit and night-time, which were used to describe Fred’s Sinterklaas print, the third hero in the series. 3 color screenprint created using rubylith and ink on velum.

Hero 02: Space Wolf Astartes

This is the second Hero print in Versus: Heroes and Villains a collaborative art project I’m doing with Fred DiMeglio www.manvsink.com/. It was inspired by the words Beardly, Electric, Armored, Thunderous, which were used to describe Fred’s Thor print.
